Anne Luhan, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Anne Luhan completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Ulm, Germany (birth city of Albert Einstein), where she graduated summa cum laude. She attended a research semester at Harvard University in Boston and went on to complete a residency in general surgery at the nationally ranked Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona, Tucson, where she was educated in all aspects of surgical procedures. She then added on a fellowship in Intensive Care and Trauma Surgery at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, facing the challenges of life and death decision making.

Dr. Anne Luhan is certified by the American Board of General Surgery, the American Board of Surgical Critical Care as well as by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.). The letters FACS (Fellow, American College of Surgeons) after a surgeon’s name mean that the surgeon’s education, training, professional qualifications, surgical competence and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the College.

In her surgical practice, she is focusing her expertise on the full spectrum of the treatment of spider and varicose veins. Every patient receives an individually designed care plan to fit his and hers needs. The treatments are performed in the office with minimal downtime, little discomfort, fast return to daily activities and often covered by most major insurance companies.

Dr. Luhan is constantly learning the newest technology and studies to continually set the highest standards in patient care and physician training.
